    The "TRACE" mirror is based on the traditional and basic Japanese tray. By setting the mirror surface slightly inward from the rim, the connection from the rim to the bottom plate is visible, allowing one to feel the original form of a tray. We have incorporated elements of lacquerware into a shape that is easy to integrate into modern lifestyles.

    Formed in 2008 by Kenji Ito and Takahiro Umino. Both are graduates of Kuwasawa Design School. They create designs that blend into daily life, while firmly grasping the subtle, elusive atmosphere behind objects.
