    "Pattern" by yumiko iihoshi porcelain is a collection of modern tableware based on the shapes and styles of traditional Japanese ceramics, designed to suit a wide variety of contemporary dining settings.

    Just as patterns are prepared one by one when making clothes, each tableware shape was given an alphabetical name—A, B, C, and so on—and refined through careful consideration, resulting in a curated selection of 8 shapes.

    Each piece is beautiful on its own, but by combining multiple shapes, they can freely enhance any occasion, from a casual daily tea time to a special dining scene with many guests. Furthermore, not just by combining them, but simply by changing their orientation from vertical to horizontal, or altering their placement, the way they are used and their impression on the table can change significantly. This makes them versatile pieces that offer diverse enjoyment and possibilities.
