    An ashtray born from the collaboration between Marutomi (Marutomi Lacquerware) of Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, and Italian architect Massimo Morozzi of Florence.
    Each is named after an Italian island, and features a unique design that makes it look like a volcano when cigarette smoke rises. Because of its clear colors, it can be used not only as an ashtray, but also as a clip holder, a desktop tray, or an accent color in an interior, making it widely useful in modern life.
    It is now out of production, so only dead stock is available.



    Massimo Morozzi
    A designer born in Florence in 1941. He graduated with a degree in architecture in 1967. After working as a member of Archizoom with Andrea Branzi and others until 1972, he served as coordinator for the Montifibre Design Center, which aimed to develop textile products for interiors. During this time, he also opened an independent studio in 1982 and mainly engaged in the design of industrial furniture and objects. He is active in functional innovation and remarkably distinctive designs.
