    This is the 10th album from the impressionistic post-classical duo Ironomio, who operate under the concept of "sounding the fruits of the seasons in various colors." For the first time, this album focuses on piano and 17-string koto to explore the beautiful soundscapes of Japanese mythology and its connection to nature. The 10th album by the duo Ironomio, consisting of pianist Junya Yanagidaira and Yu Isobe on 17-string koto and programming, is being released by Singapore's KITCHEN. LABEL. The duo, who have consistently drawn inspiration from their dialogue with the colors of the earth and seasons in their music production, presents a deeper and more refined sound on this album, their first attempt to center around the piano and 17-string koto. Since ancient times in Japan, there has been a belief that gods reside in all things in nature, such as mountains, rocks, trees, and the sea. The album title "himorogi" refers to the trees that serve as Yorishiro (objects or places that a god is invited to reside in) to invite gods during Shinto rituals. Just as rain connects the sky and earth, bringing life to the ground by making flowers bloom, and when autumn colors bid farewell, a new cycle of life begins, Ironomio's sound also circulates vibrantly in its recorded form. Sublime and elegant phrases from delicate piano melodies shower down like sparkling rain over the calm tones of the koto.
