Stool (single)
With the theme of "connecting" which is central to more trees' activities, Jasper Morrison and Kumano Wataru, who are widely active around the world, collaborated on its design. It embodies the spirit of more trees and is a product that will serve as a bridge connecting the past, present, and future of more trees, and people around the world with forests.
The "Stool" comes in three sizes. The simple single-seater "Single," the "Double" which is two "Singles" combined, and the "Long" which is an extended "Single." All of them have a soft form accompanied by the warmth of solid wood, bringing warmth to our lives. They can be used in various situations depending on combinations and ideas.
The material used is solid cypress wood from Gifu Prefecture, and each piece is handmade by local craftsmen. The cypress from this region is called "Tono Cypress" and has been used for traditional buildings such as temples and shrines since ancient times. It is a representative Japanese cypress with a pleasant aroma and excellent strength.

It is a forest conservation organization established in 2007 by musician Ryuichi Sakamoto.
With the keyword "connecting cities and forests," more trees engages in various initiatives, such as developing "more trees forests" through collaboration with local communities for forest conservation, planning and developing products utilizing domestic timber, and disseminating information and attractions of forests through events. To effectively utilize the blessings of the forest, more trees collaborates with creators and local craftsmen to create products.
