Designed for the new restaurant in the National Museum in Stockholm, its name derives from the restaurant's dining hall concept, which was an artist's atelier. Compact, lightweight, stackable, and comfortable, this chair was designed by the Stockholm-based design studio TAF as part of the National Museum's program to incorporate and showcase the "now" of Nordic design within its facilities. It is a timeless piece that remains constant in all environments, from homes to workspaces and public spaces.

*Can be stacked up to 7 chairs.
*Artek actively promotes environmental protection and uses materials with minor scratches or knots that do not pose problems for use, rather than discarding them. Therefore, there may be some noticeable scratches or knots on the seat, top plate, or legs. Please be aware that this will not affect use.

    -Artek-
Artek was founded in 1935 by architect Alvar Aalto, his wife Aino Aalto, and others. It is a Finnish furniture brand representing Nordic modernism. Artek's technology established wood as a modern material, providing a reliable form and stable quality in mass production. This technology continues unchanged today, and 80 years after its founding, Artek continues to gain many users worldwide.

    -TAF-
TAF is a Stockholm-based design studio founded by Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom. They continue to create products with the aim of designing items that blend into daily life and eventually become indispensable. They first conduct thorough research and investigation into materials and technology, and then construct a prediction of how a product will be mass-produced and consumed. TAF's products, which incorporate their unique humor into this prediction, are innovative designs that lead the times. Since its establishment in 2002, TAF has received international acclaim, and its designs are exhibited as part of the permanent collections at MoMA, the National Museum in Stockholm, and the Design Museum in Copenhagen.
