The "Material and Color Melange -Smooth Top-" is an evolution of the "Material and Color Melange" series, featuring a seamless top opening without elastic, knitted with 100% silk on the inside (touching the skin) and 100% cotton on the outside. It is recommended for those who find elasticated openings uncomfortable.
The inner silk, in all colors, is lavishly pile-knitted with silk yarn to effectively absorb and release sweat and waste products from the soles of your feet. Despite its double-layered construction, the fabric is a single piece, preventing any shifting between layers. Its moderate thickness makes it suitable for wear throughout the year. The silk used is "tate-ito" (spun silk), giving it a texture closer to linen rather than the typical smooth feel of silk.
In summer, wearing just one layer is comfortable for your feet. In spring, autumn, and winter, we recommend wearing it over "Ashi no Hadagi" five-toe socks.
