A functional shopping bag with a classic plastic bag shape and deep side pleats.
It was born from Susan's desire to create an alternative to disposable plastic bags and reduce the waste they generate.
The material is ripstop nylon, which is a strong material used for parachutes. It is as thin as paper, very light and durable, and can withstand a weight of 20 kg.
SUSAN BIJL
Designer Susan Bijl completed her first design and prototype in 2000 after studying at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam.
Based on the Dutch design philosophy of "less is more," her products are made according to safe and environmentally friendly standards.
The brand continues to be loved and has attracted interest from shops around the world, including Paul Smith in the UK and United Arrows in Japan.
