A functional shopping bag shaped like a classic plastic bag, with deep pleats on the sides.
It was born from Susan's desire to create a reusable bag to replace disposable plastic bags and reduce the waste they generate.
The material is ripstop nylon, which is also used for parachutes, making it very strong. It is as thin as paper, very light and durable, and can withstand 20kg of weight.
SUSAN BIJL
Designer Susan Bijl completed her first design and prototype in 2000 after studying at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam.
Based on the Dutch design philosophy of "less is more," her products are made according to safe and eco-friendly standards.
The brand continues to be loved and has attracted interest from shops around the world, including Paul Smith in the UK and United Arrows in Japan.
