    A.a.Danto, or "Alternative Artefacts Danto," is a brand that explores the potential of tiles through design, born from Danto, a long-established tile manufacturer on Awaji Island that has been in business since 1885. Under the creative direction of TERUHIRO YANAGIHARA STUDIO, it is a project that explores the potential of tiles as a material, without being bound by their conventional forms and uses. The project invites internationally active architects, designers, and artists as collaborators to Japan to engage in tile making from a new perspective.
