Two cultures are connected by the simple act of pouring.

A shared history of tea leaf roasting, ceramics, and the intricate and delicate rituals of the tea ceremony.

Moments of tranquility crossing continents gave rise to a tangible form.

The "pots" series, featuring Faye Toogood's iconic curvilinear design, is realized through traditional Japanese wood-firing techniques. The lid resembles a tea bowl and, when inverted, the knob becomes a foot, allowing it to function as a vessel. It possesses a quiet, somewhat Japanese aesthetic within Faye's distinctive, object-like designs.

    FAYE TOOGOOD

A British designer known for her furniture and objects that showcase her pursuit and experimentation with materials. All her works are handmade in small workshops or by traditional artisans. They are crafted with fidelity to the characteristics of the materials, embracing the irregularities of manual work. While majoring in logic, she also pursued art, gaining a unique perspective from her experience in the cutting-edge magazine industry. Her sculptural works reveal respect for the past, pure self-expression, and instinct. Her own collection line, named "Assemblages," is a portfolio of works that demonstrate experimentation with materials and methods, unconstrained by preconceived notions. Her activities extend beyond products to include spaces and exhibition design, with all her endeavors unified by a coherent narrative.

    MAX LAMB
Born in 1980, Max Lamb spent his childhood in Cornwall, a rural town on the west coast of England, fostering a love for nature and a spirit of making things. This led him to explore materials using both traditional and unconventional methods. Today, he continues to rethink the function of materials while utilizing their inherent qualities, aiming to create positive relationships among products, manufacturers, and users through simple, effective designs in communication. After graduating from Northumbria University, he earned an MA from the Royal College of Art (RCA) in 2006. While leading lectures and workshops, he is based in London and creates new designs by applying traditional material concepts and personally engaging in the process.
