From the mortar collection by Pull Push Products., based in Kyoto, comes this ultra-thin coaster made of mortar. The designer himself, using advanced plastering techniques, has crafted it to a mere 2.5mm thickness. Mortar, typically associated with a hard, thick, and cold image, is rendered here as incredibly thin, resilient, and flexible. By incorporating mortar into special fibers and finishing it with plastering techniques, it won't shatter or fall apart even if it cracks or is impacted. Any cracks or chips will create new expressions. This ordinary material, typically used in construction, becomes a completely new material with a fresh feel, integrating into your living space.
