This is a tray from the GOM series, designed by Masayuki Kurokawa starting in 1973.
It can be used for various purposes, such as a small item holder, an incense stand, or a desk accent.
The rubber-coated body also has the advantage of not making a loud noise when placed on a table and being non-slip. It can be used safely even in delicate places such as on glass, without scratching the surface.
The matte black mass blends into the space while possessing a unique appearance characteristic of rubber material.
