    The Balloon series was commercialized by Masayuki Kurokawa with the cooperation of Shotoku Glass, which manufactures Usuhari glasses.
    Looking at the glass from the side, the raised hemisphere at the bottom is distinctive, and as the name "Balloon" suggests, its appearance, as if it embodies the natural beauty of blown glass, is captivating.
    Despite its plump and rounded shape, the rim, in particular, is made very thin, allowing you to luxuriously enjoy the aroma and taste of beverages such as wine and cold beer.

    Masayuki Kurokawa
    Architect/Product Designer. His representative work, the GOM series (1973-1992), was selected for the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. He broadly and comprehensively considers and works in fields ranging from architectural design to industrialized architecture, product design, and interior design.
    Recently, he has also been involved in spatial design, including galleries, offices, and shops, mainly in mainland China, in addition to product design.
