Moer, a mortar and pestle set designed by Chris L. Halstrøm, made of porcelain and chestnut wood. It has a minimalist yet sculptural look. When in use, the heavy and elongated shape of the mortar functions as a sturdy work surface. When not in use, the pestle rests naturally along the inside of the mortar. Its appearance is beautifully harmonious, indicating that it is always ready for use.

Origin Made

Origin Made is a brand directed and operated by Singaporean designer Gabriel Tan.
Similar to traditional Japanese crafts, Portugal also has traditional handicrafts that are on the verge of disappearing.
They research these handicrafts, materials, and techniques, and design and manufacture products that play an important role in modern society. They found nostalgia and authenticity in the handicraft process and focused on human connection. By combining contemporary design with generations of artisan skills, they create timeless interior objects, lighting, and furniture. Origin Made collaborates with family-run workshops and artisans, allowing them to discover local production methods and raw materials, and aims to convey these artisans and techniques through unique products. They also view raw materials not merely as everyday items, but as fundamental components of art and design, encouraging consumers to adopt a different perspective through Origin Made products.
