Tetsuhiro Iwata is a ceramist based in Tokyo.
He uses an artificial semi-porcelain, a mixture of porcelain clay and earthenware clay, and applies a clear glaze with a glossy composition that does not craze. Although his works are grayish-white and have a rugged appearance like industrial products, the traces of his hands, characteristic of analog methods, remain within them, surprisingly preventing them from feeling cold.
One can imagine various uses for them, such as soap dishes, small desk organizers, or accessory trays.
They can also be used as tableware for snacks.
