Based on the archives of Danish ceramist Richard Manz, the Tea Cup has been brought back to life through renewed dialogue with his daughter, Cecilie. This vessel, where Danish and Japanese cultures intersect, embodies an enduring appreciation for everyday objects that transcends time.
Beyond drinks, its versatility shines through, serving as a small bowl for dishes or a dessert bowl, all while maintaining a striking presence on the table.

Richard Manz
Born in Esslingen, Germany in 1933, he was educated as a ceramist (State Academy of Art and Design Stuttgart: 1950) and a stove tile maker (1953).
After working at Gustavsberg in Stockholm, Sweden from 1956 to 1965, he moved to Denmark in 1966 and established his own studio with his wife, ceramist Bodil Manz.
