    The Tea Cup, based on the archives of Danish ceramist Richard Manz, has been brought back to life through a new dialogue with his daughter, Cecilie. This vessel, where Danish and Japanese cultures intersect, embodies an enduring appreciation for everyday objects that transcends time.
    While versatile enough to be used for drinks, as a small dish for food, or as a dessert bowl, its presence on the dining table is sure to catch the eye.

    Richard Manz
    Born in Esslingen, Germany, in 1933, Richard Manz was trained as a ceramist (Stuttgart State Academy of Art: 1950) and a stove tile maker (1953).
    After working at Gustavsberg in Stockholm, Sweden, from 1956 to 1965, he moved to Denmark in 1966. He established his own workshop with his wife, ceramist Bodil Manz.
