Hojicha Cup, re-envisioned through conversations with his daughter Cecilie, based on the archives of Danish ceramic artist Richard Manz. This vessel, where Danish and Japanese cultures intersect, embodies an enduring appreciation for everyday objects that transcends time.
While versatile enough to be used not only for drinks but also as a small bowl for food or a dessert bowl, it nonetheless makes a striking presence on the table.

    Richard Manz
Born in Esslingen, Germany, in 1933, he was educated as a ceramist (State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart: 1950) and a stove tile craftsman (1953).
After working at Gustavsberg in Stockholm, Sweden, from 1956 to 1965, he moved to Denmark in 1966 and established his own studio with his wife, ceramist Bodil Manz.
