Based on the archives of Danish ceramic artist Richard Manz, the Hojicha Cup has been brought to life once again through dialogues with his daughter Cecilie. This vessel, where Danish and Japanese cultures intersect, embodies a timeless perspective on everyday objects.
Beyond being a drinkware, it offers versatility as a small dish for food or a dessert bowl, and its presence at the dining table is sure to catch the eye.

    Richard Manz

After working at Gustavsberg in Stockholm, Sweden from 1956 to 1965, he moved to Denmark in 1966 and established his own studio with his wife, ceramic artist Bodil Manz.
