    A project commemorating the 400th anniversary of Arita ware, "2016/", is a collaboration between Arita, Saga Prefecture, and the Netherlands. New Arita ware has been created by 16 designers active both in Japan and abroad, and 16 kilns and trading companies.

    The traditional overglaze enamel painting of Arita is called "aka-e," and special colors have been used since ancient times. Focusing on this red, a collection centered on red has been developed. The linear design blends seamlessly into various dining tables, whether Japanese or Western. The unique matte finish is achieved through a special glazing technique.
    It can be used for food storage, small item storage, and more.
