    "2016/" is a collaborative project between Arita, Saga Prefecture, and the Netherlands, commemorating the 400th anniversary of Arita ware. New Arita ware was created by 16 groups of designers active both in Japan and abroad, and 16 kilns and trading companies.

    Taf, based in Sweden, designed a collection that can be used daily, regardless of age. Focusing on the relationship between size and use, where a large plate for a child becomes a side plate for an adult, the design does not adhere to a single use. Instead, it accommodates various functions by allowing the user to use their imagination. This series was born from playful ideas such as melted ice cream motifs and stamps.
