RITRATTO 212 [carmine red + black] by Alessandro Mendini
A wall-mounted vase born from a collaboration between Marutomi (Marutomi Shikki) of Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, and Italian architect Alessandro Mendini of Milan.
Although it has a simple structure combining two types of parts, its eye-catching form and colors give it a presence that makes it an accent not only as a vase but also when displayed as an object.
The part that touches the wall and the triangular part for arranging flowers can be easily attached and detached, making it easy to change water and flowers. Production of this item has ended, so only dead stock is available.
