A wall-mounted vase born from the collaboration between Marutomi (Marutomi Shikki) in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, and Italian architect Alessandro Mendini from Milan. Despite its simple structure combining two types of parts, its eye-catching form and colors give it a presence that makes it an accent not only as a vase but also when displayed as an objet d'art. The part that touches the wall and the triangular part that holds the flowers are easily detachable, making it easy to change the water and flowers. Since this product is no longer in production, only dead stock remains. Alessandro Mendini Architect, born in Milan in 1931. He served as editor-in-chief for numerous architectural and design magazines such as "Casabella," "Modo," and "Domus." In 1976, he joined Studio Alchimia, a group of avant-garde designers, and worked alongside Ettore Sottsass and others. He has released works for many companies including Zanotta, ALESSI, and FIAT.
