    Born from the changing Japanese lifestyle, from evolving food culture to the blurring lines between work and home, SARO is a lifestyle brand that draws inspiration from everyday scenes to create functional products with a fresh perspective.

    This wooden spoon features a round, ladle-like shape with a fuki-urushi (wipe-lacquer) finish. It can be used for a wide range of daily dishes such as soup and fried rice.
    The bowl and tip of the spoon are thin, and the handle is slightly long and stylish. While simple, it is meticulously handcrafted with attention to detail.

    Swiss industrial designer, Carlo Clopath (born 1986).
    After studying industrial design at ECAL/University of Art and Design in Lausanne, he joined Cecilie Manz' Office in Denmark in 2012. In 2013, he participated in an artist residency at the Statens Værksteder for Kunst art workshop in Copenhagen. He then established his own studio in a Swiss alpine village and is currently active, mainly publishing numerous projects with artisans, producers, and research institutions in Europe and Japan.
