    A long-handled spoon with a smooth, enamel-coated surface, unlike the stainless steel type. The part that goes into the mouth is also smaller.
    This is a highly versatile spoon that can be used not only for meals but also as a dessert spoon, tea spoon, or serving spoon. The simple, rounded shape, like a single sheet of metal gently bent, has a gentle curve all the way to the tip of the handle, and offers reliable functionality that is well-suited to its original purpose as a spoon.

    SARO is a lifestyle brand born from the changing Japanese way of life, from evolving food culture to the blurring lines between work and home. Drawing inspiration from everyday scenes, it creates functional products with a fresh perspective.

    The first collection, FLATWARE COLLECTION 2023, was created through a collaboration between selected Japanese artisans from various fields and Swiss industrial designer Carlo Clopath. It is a collection that offers broad and flexible solutions for contemporary Japanese dining.

    Carlo Clopath (born 1986) is a Swiss industrial designer.
    After studying industrial design at ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne, he joined Cecilie Manz' Office in Denmark in 2012. In 2013, he participated in an artist residency at the Statens Værksteder for Kunst art workshop in Copenhagen. He then established his own studio in a Swiss Alpine village and has been active there ever since. He has presented numerous projects, mainly with artisans, producers, and research institutions in Europe and Japan.
