    This thin wooden tray can be used like a placemat for meals, tea and snacks, adapting to various situations. We carefully considered the ideal thickness and size for use at the dining table. The slightly raised edge gently cradles dishes and food, and the construction method supporting the board creates a modern form without being overly assertive. It comes in three types that pair well with everyday tableware: natural wood, and vermillion and "tame" (dark reddish-brown) urushi lacquer.

    Oy is a label founded by Akiko Oue, who established the jewelry-focused label Oue in Osaka after graduating from a university in the Netherlands, and Ryohei Yoshiyuki, who is active in Japan after participating in projects with droog design and Arnout Visser. Through Japanese artisans, they focus on the materials and processes themselves to design accessories, furniture, and products.
