    A wooden box assembled from multiple pieces of solid wood. The L size can be used for business cards and accessories, and because it is deep, it can also be used to store valuables such as wallets and keys.
    It is made from various types of wood such as Hiba (cypress), Hou (magnolia), Port Orford cedar, Tamo (ash), Oak, and Katsura (Japanese Judas tree), with different wood types used on each side. It is crafted by an artisan specializing in "kakumono" (square wooden objects) such as lacquerware jubako (tiered boxes) and trays, and is assembled with such high precision that at first glance it appears to be a solid block of wood. Furthermore, wood that would normally be unusable due to knots, wormholes, cracks, rough grain, or color variations is actively incorporated, treating these as unique characteristics.
