Carlo Clopath's designed SPOON is now available from SEKISAKA.
Similar to the popular CHINESE SPOON (ladle) from the SARO collection, it retains the lovely shape with a raised bowl, but uses resin as the material and features SEKISAKA's characteristic textured coating. The finish is smoother and more tactile than the dry lacquer coating (no actual lacquer used) applied to other SEKISAKA products, making it comfortable to use when put in the mouth.
It is available in Large and Small sizes, with the Small size being particularly easy for children to use. It is also dishwasher safe.

Swiss industrial designer, Carlo Clopath (born 1986).
After studying industrial design at ECAL/University of Art and Design in Lausanne, he joined Cecilie Manz' Office in Denmark in 2012. In 2013, he participated in an artist residency at the Statens Værksteder for Kunst in Copenhagen. He then established his own studio in a Swiss alpine village, where he is currently active. He has published numerous projects primarily with artisans and producers in Europe and Japan, as well as research institutions.
