SEKISAKA has released a SPOON designed by Carlo Clopath.
Similar to the popular CHINESE SPOON (ladle) from the SARO collection, this spoon retains its charming shape with an upright bowl, but is made of resin and finished with a tactile coating characteristic of SEKISAKA. The finish is smoother than the dry lacquer coating (no actual lacquer used) applied to other SEKISAKA products, and its smooth texture makes it comfortable to use when placed in the mouth.
It is available in Large and Small sizes, with the Small size being particularly suitable for children. It is also dishwasher safe.

Carlo Clopath (born 1986) is a Swiss industrial designer.
After studying industrial design at ECAL/University of Art and Design in Lausanne, he joined Cecilie Manz' Office in Denmark in 2012. In 2013, he participated in an artist residency at the Statens Værksteder for Kunst, an artwork shop in Copenhagen. He then established his own studio in a Swiss Alpine village, where he is currently active. He has published numerous projects primarily with craftsmen, producers, and research institutions in Europe and Japan.
