SEKISAKA has released the SPOON designed by Carlo Clopath.
Similar to the popular CHINESE SPOON (ladle) from the SARO collection, this spoon retains its endearing shape with an elevated bowl, but is made of resin and finished with a tactile coating characteristic of SEKISAKA. The finish is smoother than the dry lacquer coating (no actual lacquer used) applied to other SEKISAKA products, making it smooth to the touch and comfortable to use when placed in the mouth.
It is available in Large and Small sizes, with the Small size being particularly easy for children to use. It is also dishwasher safe.

Carlo Clopath (born 1986), a Swiss industrial designer.
After studying industrial design at ECAL/University of Art and Design in Lausanne, he worked at Cecilie Manz’ Office in Denmark from 2012. In 2013, he participated in an artist residency at the Statens Værksteder for Kunst art workshop in Copenhagen. He then established his own studio in a Swiss Alpine village, where he works on numerous projects primarily with artisans, producers, and research institutions in Europe and Japan.
