The SPOON designed by Carlo Clopath has been released by SEKISAKA.
Similar to the popular CHINESE SPOON (soup spoon) from the SARO collection, this spoon maintains the charming shape with an upright bowl, but is made of resin and features SEKISAKA's characteristic tactile coating. With a smoother finish than the Dry Lacquer coating (no actual lacquer used) found on other SEKISAKA products, its silky-smooth texture ensures comfortable use when put into the mouth.
Available in Large and Small sizes, the Small size is particularly easy for children to use. It is also dishwasher safe.

Carlo Clopath (born 1986) is a Swiss industrial designer.
After studying industrial design at ECAL/University of Art and Design in Lausanne, he joined Cecilie Manz' Office in Denmark in 2012. In 2013, he participated in an artist-in-residence program at the Statens Værksteder for Kunst art workshop in Copenhagen. He then established his own studio in an Alpine village in Switzerland, where he is currently active. He has launched numerous projects primarily with artisans and producers in Europe and Japan, as well as with research institutions.
