    It's a versatile box that beautifully displays various items in your living room and kitchen.
    Utilizing the traditional box-making techniques of Echizen lacquerware, we've adjusted the angles to create a sleek, modern product. The parallelogram shape, when viewed from above, strikes a delicate balance, catching the eye without being overly assertive. By distorting the perspective, we've given this traditionally right-angled box an intriguing feel. While appearing simple, it's an abstract box that, like a picture frame, mysteriously unifies whatever you place inside.

    Product designer. Graduated from Kanazawa College of Art. Completed studies in Design Products at the Royal College of Art. After working at Panasonic Corporation, IDEO London, and Boston offices, he established GEN SUZUKI STUDIO in 2014. With his studio integrated into his home, he collaborates with domestic and international companies such as Herman Miller, Casper, and Omron, adopting an approach that doesn't separate life and design. He has received numerous awards, including the GERMAN DESIGN AWARD Gold, IDEA Gold, and permanent collection at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. He is also a part-time lecturer at Tama Art University and Musashino Art University. In 2021, he served as the jury president for the Product Design category of the D&AD Awards.
