These are knickerbocker pants made from high-density weather cloth, woven with compact cotton yarn for the warp and multifilament polyester yarn, created by bundling many extra-fine threads, for the weft. They can be worn at full length.
Despite their high density and strength, the use of polyester yarn for the weft makes them lighter than 100% cotton garments, and the fabric feels comfortable to wear year-round. The fabric is substantial, yet they feel cool when worn and have a subtle, lustrous appearance.
