    Alternative Artefacts Danto is a brand born from Danto, an established tile manufacturer on Awaji Island that has been in business since 1885. The brand explores the possibilities of tiles through design. Under the creative direction of TERUHIRO YANAGIHARA STUDIO, the project explores the potential of tiles as a material, without being confined to their traditional forms and uses. We invite world-renowned architects, designers, and artists to Japan as collaborators to engage in tile production from new perspectives.
