    Born from Danto, an established tile manufacturer on Awaji Island since 1885, "Alternative Artefacts Danto" is a brand that explores the possibilities of tiles through design. Under the creative direction of TERUHIRO YANAGIHARA STUDIO, it is a project that explores the potential of tiles as a material, unbound by conventional tile shapes and uses. We invite world-renowned architects, designers, and artists to Japan as collaborators, and engage in tile making from new perspectives.
