This bag is a recreation of a simple paper bag made of kraft paper, replaced with a durable material. Waxed canvas provides water resistance and strength, giving it a rustic and rugged look. The artist himself handles everything from dyeing to cutting and sewing, using dyes such as black tea and coffee. Enjoy how the bag develops more character and softens with use, much like leather aging.
・Over time, white lines will appear all over the bag due to folds and scuffs. You can remove these white lines by lightly ironing the area or applying hot air from a hairdryer, which will melt the surface wax.
・Once the bag has softened and become more supple, you can restore its original stiffness by placing it between two sheets of parchment paper and slowly applying a high-temperature iron over it. It will return to its original crisp state once cooled.
