Organic cotton (inner) / Red Turnip: Extracting sunki, a traditional Kiso vegetable, from red turnips produces a beautiful blue color. We use the fruit part of the red turnip, which is often left over compared to the leaves used for pickles. The Kiso-specific red turnip, fermented with lactic acid bacteria, is designated as a "Cultural Heritage of Nagano Prefecture's Flavor." The color resembles a warm, clear winter sky.
