MEGANEROCK is a workshop located in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, a famous region for eyewear production. From design to manufacturing, almost all processes are carefully handcrafted by Mr. Amada of MEGANEROCK.
Their new line, "VECTOR," uses acetate material instead of the conventional celluloid.
Its appeal lies in its distinct vibrant colors and transparency, different from celluloid. Above all, it offers a wider range of colors and patterns not available with celluloid, allowing for completely different expressions.
While shooting is the mainstream method for temple processing, MEGANEROCK uses a rare "core lamination" method, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive. The core inserted inside is shaped like an arrow, which is also MEGANEROCK's logo, showcasing attention to detail. The nose pads with nose arms provide a snug fit and prevent slippage, ensuring comfort even after prolonged wear.
