    "Alternative Artefacts Danto" is a brand born from Danto, a long-established tile manufacturer on Awaji Island dating back to 1885, that explores the possibilities of tiles through design. Under the creative direction of TERUHIRO YANAGIHARA STUDIO, it is a project that explores the potential of tiles as a material, without being bound by conventional tile shapes and uses. Architects, designers, and artists active worldwide are invited to Japan as collaborators to engage in tile making from a new perspective.
