    Alternative Artefacts Danto is a brand born from Danto, a long-established tile manufacturer on Awaji Island since 1885, that explores the possibilities of tiles through design. Under the creative direction of TERUHIRO YANAGIHARA STUDIO, the project explores the potential of tiles as a material, unconstrained by conventional tile shapes and uses. Architects, designers, and artists active worldwide are invited to Japan as collaborators to engage in tile manufacturing from a new perspective.
