A 4-sun katakuchi (spouted bowl). Of course, it can be used for pouring sake, but it also comes in handy as a dish for sauces or ingredients.

Yohei Nakazato has a unique background; after majoring in industrial design at a British university and working for a general company, he taught himself lacquerware production starting in 2012. He handles all processes himself, from woodworking to undercoating and lacquering. He uses precious, domestically produced lacquer from Nagano for the finishing coats, which gives the pieces a refined luster and smooth texture. His lacquerware is beautiful, balancing exquisite design with the traces of hand carving. He is currently based in Aoki Village, Nagano Prefecture.
