    A gift set of four items from the cutlery brand SARO, created through a collaboration between Swiss industrial designer Carlo Clopath and carefully selected artisans from various fields within Japan. This set includes two teaspoons and two cake forks from a total of 23 collections.

    SARO is a lifestyle brand born from the changing Japanese way of life, adapting to everything from evolving food culture to the blurring lines between work and home. By drawing inspiration from everyday scenes, SARO creates functional products with a fresh perspective.

    The teaspoons and cake forks are characterized by a pleasant weight when held and a thick handle. The length of the handles is also slightly longer compared to general cutlery. The texture of the stainless steel has a silky finish rather than an overly strong shine, creating an elegant dining experience.

    designed by Carlo Clopath
    Carlo Clopath (born 1986) is a Swiss industrial designer.
    After studying industrial design at ECAL/University of Art and Design in Lausanne, he joined Cecilie Manz’ Office in Denmark in 2012. In 2013, he participated in an artist residency at the Statens Værksteder for Kunst in Copenhagen. He then established his own studio in a Swiss alpine village and is currently active, presenting many projects primarily with artisans, producers, and research institutions in Europe and Japan.
