The soup spoons, with their simple, rounded shape like a softly bent plate, can be used for more than just dishes. They are highly versatile and can function as dessert spoons, tea spoons, or serving spoons for sharing.
The gentle curve extends to the end of the handle, ensuring reliable functionality as an authentic soup spoon. The enamel type also has a smooth feel in the mouth.
The lacquered chopsticks, essential to Japanese dining, are made slightly longer than standard chopsticks. There are four types of finishes: Vermillion, Tame-nuri, Maki-ji Vermillion, and Maki-ji Black. Both the wood and the lacquer are carefully crafted by hand by artisans in Fukui Prefecture.

Carlo Clopath (born 1986) is a Swiss industrial designer.
After studying industrial design at ECAL/University of Art and Design in Lausanne, he joined Cecilie Manz' Office in Denmark in 2012. In 2013, he participated in an artist residency at the Statens Værksteder for Kunst, an art workshop in Copenhagen. He then established his own studio in a Swiss alpine village and is currently active there. He has presented many projects primarily with artisans, producers, and research institutions in Europe and Japan.
