CNC made WOODEN SPOON SMALL (LACQUERED) [BROWN]
The first collection, FLATWARE COLECTION 2023, was born from a collaboration between various carefully selected Japanese craftspeople and Swiss industrial designer Carlo Clopath. It is a collection of 23 pieces that flexibly and widely adapt to modern Japanese dining.
This wooden spoon features a round shape like a ladle and a wipe-lacquer finish. It can be used in a wide range of situations, such as for noodles like udon, soups, and curries. The bowl and tip of the spoon are made thin, so it doesn't feel thick like typical wooden spoons. The spoon's wooden blank, with its meticulously crafted details, is produced at a furniture factory in Hokkaido using a 5-axis NC machining process.
