These are plates by Takuya Yamamoto, a potter working in Kashiwara City, Osaka Prefecture.
They have a glossy, enamel-like finish and are not simply white, but an off-white color.
They are made using a technique called "katauchi," which involves a potter's wheel and plaster molds.
