This is a relief deep plate by ceramic artist Takuya Yamamoto, who works in Kashiwara City, Osaka Prefecture.
It has a glossy finish much like enamel, and is an off-white rather than a simple white.
It is made using a technique called "katauchi," which involves a potter's wheel and plaster molds.
