This is a mug by ceramist Takuya Yamamoto, who works in Kashiwara City, Osaka Prefecture.
It has a glossy, enamel-like finish, and is off-white rather than pure white.
It is made using a technique called "katauchi," which combines a potter's wheel and plaster molds.
