This is a medium-sized oval plate by potter Takuya Yamamoto, who works in Kashiwara City, Osaka Prefecture.
It has a glossy finish like enamel, and is not just white, but an milky white vessel.
It is made using a technique called "katauchi," which combines a potter's wheel and plaster molds.
